The CAM pack for the Spot robot makes it even easier and more enjoyable to take Spot on outings using its remote controller. Your four-legged mobile platform will benefit from a panoramic and colour camera for improved vision.
Spot is agile, tough and (almost) as helpful and loyal as a real dog. The only thing missing was speech – and this CAM pack by Boston Dynamics solves the problem! The system is equipped with high-definition microphones and speakers allowing you to speak directly to anyone Spot meets along the way and hear their answer.
CAM accessory pack: What Spot sees...
...you see too! The colour and panoramic camera is configured to transmit the image stream to Spot’s tablet controller in real time. Using these precise images taken at 360°, and which faithfully reproduce the colours of the robot’s surroundings, is a very efficient way of controlling Spot.
The CAM pack is well protected against dust and other dirt and can operate in both cold and hot temperatures. Its LED lights allow it to explore poorly lit places, even night-time environments.
